Indications

Angiotrofin Ap is indicated for the treatment of essential arterial hypertension in adults. In addition, it is used in the management of angina pectoris, especially in cases where heart rate control is required. This drug acts as a calcium channel blocker, which contributes to the relaxation of blood vessels, thereby reducing vascular resistance and improving oxygen supply to the heart. Diltiazem is particularly effective in patients with hypertension combined with angina, providing a dual approach to the treatment of these conditions.

Composition

Each Angiotrofin Ap tablet contains 120 mg of Diltiazem as an active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the product.

Contraindications

Angiotrofin Ap is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Diltiazem or any component of the formula. It should also be avoided in patients with second or third-degree heart block, sick sinus syndrome, severe congestive heart failure, and in those with severe hypotension.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Angiotrofin Ap to patients with liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those with a history of bradycardia. It is essential to monitor blood pressure and heart rate during treatment. Likewise, it is recommended to avoid abrupt discontinuation of the medication to prevent the risk of adverse reactions.

Store in its original packaging at room temperature, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
