Indications

Angiotrofin is indicated for the treatment of essential arterial hypertension and for the management of angina pectoris. This medication acts as a calcium channel blocker, which allows the relaxation of heart muscles and the dilation of blood vessels, thus helping to lower blood pressure and improve blood flow. It can also be used in patients with cardiac arrhythmias, always under the supervision of a doctor.

Composition

Each Angiotrofin tablet contains 60 mg of Diltiazem, as well as excipients such as lactose, corn starch, and magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

Angiotrofin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Diltiazem or any component of the formula. It should not be used in cases of severe congestive heart failure, untreated second or third-degree AV block, and in patients receiving beta-blocker treatment, unless under strict medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease, as well as in those with hypotension. It is important to monitor cardiac function in patients under treatment with this medication. No changes in dosage should be made without the authorization of the treating physician.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
