Indications
Angiotrofin is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension and both stable and unstable angina pectoris. Its action is based on calcium channel blocking activity, resulting in vasodilation, thereby decreasing vascular resistance and cardiac load. Additionally, it is used in the management of certain heart rhythm disorders, including supraventricular tachycardias. This medication can be used as part of a combination therapy, depending on medical evaluation and patient needs.
Composition
Each Angiotrofin tablet contains Diltiazem as the active ingredient, along with suitable excipients for its formulation. The concentration of Diltiazem in each tablet is 30 mg.
Contraindications
Angiotrofin should not be administered to patients with known hypersensitivity to Diltiazem or any of the formulation components. It is contraindicated in patients with severe heart failure, second- and third-degree AV block, and in those suffering from sick sinus syndrome. Likewise, its use should be avoided in patients with very low blood pressure or in cases of cardiogenic shock.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Angiotrofin to patients with liver or kidney problems, as well as those with a history of heart disease or electrolyte disorders. Regular medical monitoring during treatment is recommended, as is adjusting the dose according to the patient's individual needs.

Store in its original packaging at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
