Indications

Angiopohl is indicated for the treatment of chronic and acute angina pectoris, as well as for the management of anginal crises. This medication acts as a vasodilator, facilitating blood circulation and reducing the heart's workload. It is also used in the management of high blood pressure in emergency situations and in patients with congestive heart failure. Nitroglycerin can be used preoperatively to reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications during surgical procedures.

Composition

Each ml of Angiopohl contains: Nitroglycerin 1 mg. Excipients: water for injections, sodium chloride, and others. Consult the leaflet for detailed information on excipients.

Contraindications

Angiopohl is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to nitroglycerin or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered to patients presenting with hypertensive crises, severe anemia, or those who have consumed phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors in the last 24 hours. It is also contraindicated in patients with conditions such as cardiogenic shock or increased intracranial pressure.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with hypotension, hypovolemia, or those suffering from severe heart disease. The use of Angiopohl may cause dizziness or fainting, so it is recommended to avoid activities requiring concentration until the patient's response to the treatment is known. Regular medical follow-up is advisable during treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
