Indications

Anfebutamona is indicated as a treatment for major depressive episodes in adults, as well as for the management of anxiety in patients who have not responded adequately to other treatments. It is also used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children and adolescents, and as part of a comprehensive plan for obesity control in patients with a high body mass index (BMI). Anfebutamona has been shown to help improve mood, energy, and concentration in patients with depression, while reducing impulsivity and hyperactivity in patients with ADHD.

Composition

Each Anfebutamona tablet contains 150 mg of anfebutamona as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that allow for the formulation and stability of the medication.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Anfebutamona or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to people with a history of seizures, eating disorders, or those who are being treated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).

Precautions

Caution is recommended when administering Anfebutamona to patients with a history of psychiatric disorders, as well as those with cardiovascular problems. The risk-benefit ratio should be evaluated in patients with a history of substance abuse. It is essential to monitor for the appearance of symptoms of anxiety, agitation, or behavioral changes during treatment.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
