Indications
Andantol Syrup is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of dry cough, relieving irritation of the respiratory tract. Its action is based on isotipendil's ability to reduce the frequency of coughing and facilitate more comfortable breathing. This medication may be useful in cases of cough associated with viral infections or allergen irritations, as well as in situations where it is necessary to minimize cough to improve the patient's quality of life.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Andantol Syrup contains: Isotipendil 40 mg. Excipients: glucose syrup, glycerin, flavorings and preservatives.
Contraindications
Andantol Syrup is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in people with chronic respiratory diseases without medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease, or in those who are being treated with other medications. It is important to evaluate the risk-benefit ratio in specific situations such as pregnancy and lactation. Simultaneous use of other antitussives without pertinent medical consultation is not recommended.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. The storage temperature should not exceed 30°C. It is recommended to check the expiration date before use.
