Indications
Anara Syrup is indicated for the treatment of occasional constipation. Its laxative action is based on increasing the amount of water in the intestine, which facilitates intestinal transit. It is useful in cases where rapid relief from constipation is required, as well as in situations where it is necessary to avoid excessive straining during defecation, for example, in post-surgical patients or those with hemorrhoids. Additionally, it can be used in the preparation of diagnostic procedures that require intestinal cleansing.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Anara Syrup contains 100 mg of Sodium Picosulfate as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that enhance its flavor and stability.
Contraindications
Anara Syrup is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Sodium Picosulfate or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be used in cases of intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, or inflammatory bowel diseases. Likewise, its use is not recommended in patients with severe dehydration or in those who present symptoms of acute abdomen.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Anara Syrup in patients with heart, kidney, or liver diseases, as well as in those undergoing diuretic treatment. It is advisable not to use laxatives continuously, as this can lead to dependence. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions regarding the duration of treatment and the recommended dose.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
