Indications
Anara is indicated for the treatment of occasional and chronic constipation. It is a laxative that primarily acts in the intestine, stimulating intestinal motility and facilitating evacuation. It is used in situations where bowel evacuation is required, such as in preparations for diagnostic and surgical procedures, as well as in cases of hemorrhoids or anal fissures that require symptomatic relief. Due to its gentle action, it is suitable for use in adults and children over 6 years of age, always under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Composition
Each Anara tablet contains 5 mg of Sodium Picosulfate, in addition to excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Sodium Picosulfate or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in cases of intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, acute ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, and in patients with persistent nausea or vomiting. Its use in children under 6 years of age is not recommended.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with intestinal diseases, as well as in those with dehydration or electrolyte imbalances. Prolonged use of laxatives can lead to dependence, so it is recommended to use them for short periods and under medical supervision. It is important to evaluate the cause of constipation before starting treatment with Anara.
