Indications
Anapsique is indicated for the treatment of depressive disorders, including major depressive episodes and persistent depressive disorders. It is also used in the management of anxiety disorders, such as generalized anxiety disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. Amitriptyline works by balancing neurotransmitters in the brain, which helps to improve mood and reduce anxiety. Additionally, it may be useful in the treatment of neuropathic pain and in migraine prophylaxis.
Composition
Each Anapsique tablet contains: Amitriptyline 50 mg. Excipients: corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Anapsique is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to amitriptyline or any of the formulation components. It should not be used in patients who have received monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) in the last two weeks, as well as in those with a history of recent myocardial infarction or severe cardiac arrhythmias.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with seizure disorders, liver or heart diseases, as well as in those with a history of substance abuse. It is advisable to monitor patients during treatment, especially at the beginning, due to the potential increased risk of suicide in certain age groups.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
