Indications
Anapsique is indicated in the treatment of depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and in the management of neuropathic pain. It may also be useful in the treatment of sleep disorders, as well as in the prophylaxis of migraines. The use of amitriptyline in patients with depressive disorders can help improve mood, concentration, and general quality of life. Its use is recommended under strict medical supervision, considering the patient's medical history and the possible presence of other pathologies or concomitant treatments.
Composition
Each Anapsique tablet contains 25 mg of amitriptyline as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to amitriptyline or to any of the excipients. It is also contraindicated in patients who have recently had a myocardial infarction, as well as in those with closed-angle glaucoma or urinary retention.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in its use in patients with a history of epilepsy, heart problems, liver or kidney diseases. Likewise, concomitant use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and in patients with a history of suicide or self-harming behaviors is recommended to be avoided. It is advisable to monitor patients during treatment, especially in the first few weeks.
Storage
Store in its original packaging, at room temperature (between 15 and 30 °C), protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
