Indications
Analgen is indicated for the treatment of various painful and inflammatory conditions. It is commonly used in the management of moderate to severe pain, such as: headache, dental pain, menstrual pain, muscle pain, and post-surgical pain. In addition, it is effective in the treatment of inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Naproxen sodium acts by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, resulting in an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. It can also be used to relieve symptoms associated with fever and inflammatory processes. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions and not exceed the recommended dose.
Composition
Each Analgen tablet contains 550 mg of naproxen sodium as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients such as corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and other components that contribute to the drug's formulation.
Contraindications
Analgen is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to naproxen or any of the excipients in the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with active gastric or duodenal ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, severe hepatic insufficiency, and in those who are in the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, asthma, or gastrointestinal problems. Medical monitoring is recommended for patients requiring prolonged treatment. Avoid use in combination with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants without medical supervision.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C, in a dry place away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
