Indications

Analgen is indicated for the treatment of various conditions that require the anti-inflammatory and analgesic action of naproxen sodium. Its use is recommended for the management of mild to moderate pain, such as menstrual pain, postoperative pain, musculoskeletal pain, and osteoarticular pain. Additionally, it is used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, contributing to the reduction of inflammation and relief of pain associated with these conditions. It is important that the use of this medication be under the supervision of a healthcare professional, who will determine the dose and duration of treatment according to the patient's characteristics.

Composition

Each Analgen tablet contains 220 mg of naproxen sodium. The gel contains naproxen sodium as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its topical application and absorption.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to naproxen or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of active peptic ulcer, severe renal failure, severe heart failure, and in patients who have previously experienced gastrointestinal bleeding. Its use in the third trimester of pregnancy should be avoided.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disease, hypertension, renal or hepatic insufficiency. The risk-benefit ratio should be evaluated in elderly patients and those with cardiovascular conditions. Additionally, concomitant use with other NSAIDs should be avoided.
