Indications
Amlodipine is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension and for the management of both stable and unstable angina pectoris. This medication acts as a calcium channel blocker, resulting in the dilation of blood vessels and a decrease in peripheral vascular resistance. Its use is recommended in patients requiring adequate blood pressure control and in those experiencing angina episodes, thus facilitating a better quality of life. It is important that the use of Amlodipine be supervised by a physician, who will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment.
Composition
Each tablet contains: Amlodipine (as besilate) 5 mg. Excipients: starch, lactose, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Amlodipine is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to amlodipine or any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with cardiogenic shock, severe heart failure, or in those with severe aortic stenosis. It is also contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation, unless otherwise indicated by a physician.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency, as well as in those with a history of ischemic heart disease. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and evaluation of cardiac function during treatment are essential.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
