Indications

Aminosteril N-Hepa 8% is an intravenous solution indicated for parenteral nutrition in patients who require nutritional support and cannot obtain it through oral or enteral feeding. It is specially formulated for patients with metabolic disorders or conditions that require an adequate supply of amino acids. It is used in situations such as:

  • Critically ill patients.
  • Major surgical interventions.
  • Patients with chronic or neoplastic disease.
  • Patients with malnutrition or at risk of malnutrition.
It is important to consider that the use of Aminosteril N-Hepa 8% must be carried out under strict medical supervision and with appropriate evaluation of the patient's clinical status.

Composition

Each 100 mL of Aminosteril N-Hepa 8% contains:

  • Essential and non-essential amino acids.
  • Electrolytes in adequate amounts.
  • Water for injection.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, as well as in those with severe renal insufficiency who are not undergoing dialysis, and in conditions of fluid overload.

Precautions

It should be used with caution in patients with liver diseases, impaired renal function, and in those at risk of electrolyte imbalance. It is essential to monitor amino acid and electrolyte levels during solution administration.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
