Indications
Amdory is indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to excessive gastric acid production. This medication is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), where stomach contents return to the esophagus, causing symptoms such as heartburn and discomfort. It is also used in gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as in Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, which is characterized by uncontrolled gastric acid secretion. Amdory acts by inhibiting the proton pump in the parietal cells of the stomach, thereby decreasing acid production, which promotes the healing of gastrointestinal mucosa and alleviates symptoms associated with excess acid.
Composition
Each Amdory capsule contains 30 mg of Lansoprazole as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients such as microcrystalline cellulose, starch, and gelatin in the capsule.
Contraindications
Amdory is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Lansoprazole or any of the excipients of the medication. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other proton pump inhibitors.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Amdory in patients with severe liver disease, as a dose adjustment may be required. Likewise, the presence of peptic ulcer symptoms should be evaluated and malignancy ruled out before starting treatment, as Lansoprazole can mask symptoms of more serious diseases.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
