Indications
Amably LP (Esomeprazole) is indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to excessive acid production in the stomach. It is used in the therapy of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in adults and children over 1 year of age, as well as for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics. It is also prescribed for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers and for the prevention of ulcers associated with the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in high-risk patients. Additionally, it is used in the treatment of erosive esophagitis caused by acid reflux.
Composition
Each Amably LP capsule contains 20 mg of esomeprazole as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to esomeprazole or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other proton pump inhibitors.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with severe liver disease, as well as in those with a history of osteoporosis, as prolonged use of esomeprazole may increase the risk of fractures. Monitoring is recommended for patients requiring long-term treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
