Indications
Amably (Esomeprazole) is indicated for the treatment of diseases related to excessive gastric acid production. It is used in the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), where inflammation and damage to the esophagus occur due to frequent acid exposure. It is also prescribed for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics, as part of a treatment for gastric and duodenal ulcers. Additionally, it is effective in preventing gastric ulcers induced by prolonged use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Composition
Each Amably capsule contains 20 mg of esomeprazole, as well as excipients that facilitate the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to esomeprazole or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver problems and those with certain medical conditions that may be aggravated by proton pump inhibitor treatment.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Amably to patients with a history of liver or kidney diseases. Appropriate monitoring is recommended for those who present symptoms of gastritis or peptic ulcers, as well as evaluating the need to continue treatment if new or different symptoms appear.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
