Indications
Alzam (Alprazolam) is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and for reducing the manifestation of anxiety symptoms in conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. Its anxiolytic action is effective for the management of acute anxiety-related symptoms and for the short-term treatment of anxiety disorders. This medication acts on the central nervous system, helping to improve mood and reduce emotional tension.
Composition
Each Alzam tablet contains 1 mg of Alprazolam and excipients: lactose, corn starch, talc, and magnesium stearate.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Alprazolam or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be administered to patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, severe respiratory insufficiency, and those with a history of substance abuse.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of depression, liver disease, kidney disease, or in elderly individuals. Prolonged use may lead to physical and psychological dependence. Treatment should not be discontinued abruptly, as this may cause withdrawal symptoms. During treatment, it is recommended to avoid alcohol consumption and other substances that may potentiate the sedative effects of the medication.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
