Indications
Altruline (sertraline) is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. This medication works by modulating serotonin levels in the central nervous system, which helps to improve mood and reduce anxiety. Its use should be under the supervision of a physician, who will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment for each patient.
Composition
Each Altruline tablet contains 50 mg of sertraline, as well as excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
Altruline is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to sertraline or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or in patients with a history of serotonin syndrome.
Precautions
Caution is advised in patients with a history of manic disorders, seizures, liver or kidney disease, and in those taking other medications that may affect serotonin levels. Regular medical monitoring is important during treatment to monitor for the appearance of adverse effects or changes in the patient's health status.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and out of reach of children.
