Indications

Almetec Tri is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension in adult patients. The combination of olmesartan, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide provides a synergistic antihypertensive effect, helping to reduce blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension. This combination may be useful in patients who do not achieve adequate blood pressure control with monotherapy or who require stepped therapy to reach recommended blood pressure targets. Assessment of the patient's cardiovascular risk profile should be considered before initiating treatment.

Composition

Each tablet contains:
- Olmesartan medoxomil: 20 mg
- Amlodipine: 5 mg
- Hydrochlorothiazide: 12.5 mg

Contraindications

Almetec Tri is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of angioedema associated with previous treatments with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) or angiotensin II receptor blockers, as well as in those with severe renal insufficiency or in patients who are being treated with diuretics that cause hypovolemia.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Almetec Tri to patients with a history of heart, liver, or kidney diseases. Monitoring of electrolyte levels is also recommended, especially in patients at risk of electrolyte imbalance. Administration of this medication may lead to a significant decrease in blood pressure, so the patient's response to treatment should be evaluated.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
