Indications

Alliviax (naproxen) is indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation in various conditions. Among its most common indications are:

• Relief of acute pain, such as headache, toothache, and muscle pain.
• Treatment of symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
• Relief of dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain).
• Treatment of kidney colic and other painful conditions.

Naproxen works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, which results in reduced inflammation and pain.

Composition

Each Alliviax tablet contains:

• Naproxen: 550 mg.

Contraindications

Alliviax is contraindicated in the following cases:

• Known hypersensitivity to naproxen or any of the product's excipients.
• Patients with a history of active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Severe impairment of renal or hepatic function.
• During the third trimester of pregnancy.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in the following cases:

• Patients with a history of cardiovascular disease or hypertension.
• Patients with a history of asthma or allergic rhinitis, as they may experience allergic reactions.
• Concomitant use with other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
• Patients over 65 years of age, who may have an increased risk of adverse effects.
