Indications

Alliviax is a medication indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and for the relief of inflammation. It is commonly used in conditions such as arthritis, osteoarthritis, and in the management of pain associated with sports injuries or post-operative pain. It is also effective in the treatment of dysmenorrhea, helping to relieve menstrual pain in women. Naproxen, its active component, works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are mediators responsible for inflammation and pain.

Composition

Each Alliviax tablet contains 550 mg of naproxen as the active ingredient. It also includes excipients that facilitate the formulation and absorption of the medication.

Contraindications

Alliviax is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to naproxen or any other component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in people with a history of gastric ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding, as well as in those with severe renal or hepatic insufficiency. Furthermore, it should not be administered during the third trimester of pregnancy.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Alliviax in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, or in those who are being treated with anticoagulants. It is important to monitor kidney function in patients who use this medication long-term. Concomitant use of other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs is not recommended.
