Indications
Allegra Ped Suspension is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, and nasal and ocular itching. It is also used for the management of chronic idiopathic urticaria, providing relief to patients with itching and skin rashes. This medication works by blocking the action of histamine, a natural substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms. It is indicated for use in children over 2 years of age, always under the supervision of a doctor.
Composition
Each 100 ml of suspension contains 600 mg of fexofenadine. Excipients: purified water, artificial flavor, glycerin, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to fexofenadine or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of heart disease or those taking other medications that may affect heart rhythm. Renal function should be evaluated before starting treatment. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
