Indications

Alka-Seltzer Lime-Lemon is indicated for the temporary relief of symptoms related to heartburn, such as indigestion and dyspepsia. It is also used for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, such as headaches and muscle aches. Thanks to its effervescent formulation, it facilitates the rapid dissolution and absorption of active components, providing faster relief. This product can be used for the symptomatic treatment of discomfort caused by excess stomach acidity, as well as for fever reduction and the relief of flu symptoms.

Composition

Each effervescent tablet contains: 325 mg of acetylsalicylic acid, 1,000 mg of sodium bicarbonate, and 1,000 mg of citric acid.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to individuals with active peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe kidney failure, or during the third trimester of pregnancy. Its use is also recommended to be avoided in patients with asthma, as it may cause allergic reactions.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastritis or ulcers, as well as in those taking anticoagulants, as acetylsalicylic acid may increase the risk of bleeding. Prolonged use without medical supervision is not recommended. It is important to consult a doctor before using this medication if persistent symptoms occur or if other medications are being taken.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
