Indications

Alka-Seltzer Boost is a medication indicated for the temporary relief of symptoms related to headache, muscle aches, fever, and general malaise. This medication is formulated to provide rapid action thanks to its effervescent form, facilitating the dissolution and absorption of its components. It is mainly indicated to treat pains associated with colds, flu, and other disorders that involve discomfort. Additionally, caffeine can enhance the analgesic effect of acetylsalicylic acid, improving the treatment's effectiveness in some patients.

Composition

Each effervescent tablet contains:
- Acetylsalicylic Acid: 500 mg
- Caffeine: 65 mg

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the formula's components, as well as in those with a history of active gastric or duodenal ulcer, bleeding disorders, or bronchial asthma associated with the use of salicylates. Its use is not recommended in children and adolescents with viral infections due to the risk of Reye's syndrome.

Precautions
