Indications

Alka Defense Chewable Tablets 500 mg is indicated for the treatment of diseases related to gastric hyperacidity, such as gastritis, peptic ulcers, and gastroesophageal reflux. It is also used to relieve symptoms such as heartburn and acid indigestion, providing an antacid effect that helps neutralize excess stomach acid. Its use is recommended in patients who experience gastrointestinal discomfort associated with the intake of certain foods or drinks that may cause discomfort.

Composition

Each chewable tablet contains 500 mg of ranitidine, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

Alka Defense Chewable Tablets is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ranitidine or any of the components of the formulation. Its use is not recommended in those with severe renal insufficiency or in patients with a history of porphyria.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of pulmonary disease, as there may be an increased risk of respiratory infections. In addition, it is recommended to evaluate renal function before starting treatment, as well as to monitor patients who are receiving other medications that may interact with ranitidine.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
