Indications

Alka Defense Tab Mast 500Mg is indicated for the treatment of heartburn, stomach burning sensation, and occasional indigestion. This medication works by neutralizing excess stomach acid, providing fast and effective relief from gastrointestinal discomfort. It can also be used to prevent stomach upset associated with heavy or acidic meals. Its use is recommended for adults and children over 12 years of age, following the recommendations of a healthcare professional.

Composition

Each chewable tablet contains: Calcium Carbonate 500 mg, Magnesium Carbonate 250 mg, Natural Mint Flavoring, Excipients q.s.p.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in people with severe kidney disease, hypocalcemia, or those who have problems with calcium or magnesium absorption. Its use in pregnant or breastfeeding women should be evaluated by a doctor.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with renal insufficiency or those on a sodium or magnesium-restricted diet. It is advisable not to exceed the recommended dose and avoid prolonged use without medical supervision. If symptoms persist for more than 14 days, a healthcare professional should be consulted.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
