Indications
Alin 0.75 mg is indicated for the treatment of various inflammatory and allergic conditions, as well as autoimmune diseases. It is also used in the management of endocrine disorders, hematological diseases, and in situations where suppression of the immune response is required. This medication may be indicated in cases of asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, allergic dermatitis, and other conditions where the use of a glucocorticoid is considered necessary. Additionally, Alin can be used in the treatment of certain types of cancer, as well as in the management of edema related to kidney or liver diseases.
Composition
Each Alin tablet contains 0.75 mg of Dexamethasone as the active ingredient. Additionally, it may contain excipients such as lactose, starch, and talc, among others, which facilitate the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Alin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to dexamethasone or to any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in systemic fungal infections, active tuberculosis, and in patients with uncontrolled viral infections. Caution should be exercised in patients with peptic ulcer, uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and in those with psychiatric illnesses.
Precautions
It is important to monitor patients using Alin, especially those with pre-existing conditions such as heart failure, hypertension, diabetes, and osteoporosis. Dose adjustment should be considered in elderly patients, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that may interact with glucocorticoids. Regular medical follow-up is recommended to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment and the occurrence of side effects.
Storage
Alin should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
