Indications
Alidia 535 mg Tablets is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial infections, including those affecting the respiratory tract, skin, and soft tissues. It is particularly effective in treating pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and pneumonia caused by susceptible microorganisms. It is also used in the management of sexually transmitted infections, such as non-gonococcal urethritis and cervicitis. Azithromycin, its active ingredient, works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria, which helps stop their growth and reproduction.
Composition
Each Alidia tablet contains 535 mg of Azithromycin as an active ingredient, in addition to excipients that aid in the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Azithromycin, to any macrolide antibiotic, or to any of the components of the formulation. Caution should also be exercised in patients with a history of severe liver or kidney disease.
Precautions
It is recommended to evaluate liver and kidney function before starting treatment, as dose modification may be necessary in these cases. It should be used with caution in patients with cardiac arrhythmias, as Azithromycin may prolong the QT interval. It is important to avoid concomitant use with other medications that may affect heart rhythm.

Alidia Tablets should be stored at room temperature, in a dry and cool place, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
