Indications

Agreless is indicated for the prevention of atherothrombotic events in patients who have suffered an acute myocardial infarction, a cerebrovascular accident, or who suffer from peripheral arterial disease. It is also used in patients undergoing coronary revascularization procedures by percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTCA) or in those with acute coronary syndrome, with or without ST-segment elevation.

Clopidogrel works by inhibiting platelet aggregation by blocking the P2Y12 receptor, which reduces thrombus formation and improves blood circulation, thereby helping to decrease the risk of cardiovascular complications.

Composition

Each Agreless tablet contains 75 mg of clopidogrel (as clopidogrel bisulfate) as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that are necessary for the formulation of the tablet.

Contraindications

Agreless is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to clopidogrel or to any of the excipients of the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients with active pathological bleeding, such as gastric ulcers or intracranial hemorrhages, and in those with severe liver disease.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Agreless in patients with a history of bleeding, bleeding disorders, or those who are receiving other medications that increase the risk of bleeding. It is important to perform adequate follow-up in patients who are undergoing concomitant treatment with anticoagulants or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Store at room temperature, in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
