Indications

Afrin Lubricating Adult Spray is indicated for the temporary relief of nasal congestion due to colds, hay fever, and other respiratory allergies. This medication acts as a nasal decongestant, providing fast and effective relief. It is particularly useful in situations where a quick opening of the airways is required, such as in cases of sinusitis or allergic rhinitis. Its use is recommended for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

Composition

Each 100 ml of Afrin Lubricating Adult Spray contains: Oxymetazoline 0.05% as active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, sodium chloride, disodium edetate, preservative.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to oxymetazoline or to any of the excipients. It should not be used in patients with atrophic rhinitis and in those who have been treated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) in the last two weeks. Its use is not recommended in children under 12 years of age.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Afrin in patients with hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, or in those taking other medications that may increase blood pressure. Prolonged use can lead to a rebound effect in nasal congestion.

Storage

Store at room temperature, in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
