Indications

Advil Max 400 mg is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of various painful and febrile conditions. This medicine is used to relieve headaches, dental pain, muscle pain, menstrual pain, and cold or flu symptoms. It is also used to reduce fever in adults and children over 12 years of age. Its anti-inflammatory action makes it useful in the management of conditions such as arthritis and other inflammatory disorders. Composition

Each capsule contains: Ibuprofen 400 mg as active ingredient. Excipients: Gelatin, glycerin, sorbitol, and other inactive excipients.

Contraindications

Advil Max is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or to any of the excipients of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of active peptic ulcers, severe inflammatory bowel disease, severe renal failure, severe hepatic failure, and in patients with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or coagulation disorders. In pregnant or breastfeeding women, its use must be evaluated by a doctor.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, asthma, and in those who are being treated with anticoagulants. It is advisable to monitor renal function in patients who use this medication for a prolonged period. Its use in combination with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) is not recommended.
