Indications
Advantan Cream is indicated for the treatment of various dermatological conditions that require the use of topical corticosteroids. It is effective in reducing inflammation, itching, and redness associated with conditions such as atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, eczema, and psoriasis. Its formulation allows for adequate skin penetration, providing symptomatic relief and improving skin appearance in patients with inflammatory lesions. Its use is recommended for lesions that do not present infection, and it should be applied according to the relevant medical instructions.
Composition
Each 1 g of cream contains 1 mg of Methylprednisolone Aceponate as an active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, glycerin, stearic acid, among others.
Contraindications
Advantan Cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in untreated viral, fungal, or bacterial skin infections. It is also contraindicated in patients with cutaneous tuberculosis or in patients with rosacea and perioral dermatitis.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when used on large areas of skin, as well as in patients with a history of systemic corticosteroid effects. Its use is not recommended in children under 4 months of age without medical supervision. In case of irritation or sensitization, treatment should be discontinued and a healthcare professional consulted.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
