Indications

Adopren (Ibuprofen) is indicated for the treatment of various conditions requiring pain relief and inflammation reduction. It is used in the management of mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, muscle pain, joint pain, dental pain, and dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain). It is also effective for fever reduction in various illnesses. Adopren acts by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are mediators responsible for inflammation and pain.

Composition

Each tablet contains: Ibuprofen 600 mg. Excipients: corn starch, magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

Adopren is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any component of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, and those with bronchial asthma or allergic reactions after NSAID administration. Its use is contraindicated during the third trimester of pregnancy.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disease, heart failure, hypertension, kidney or liver disease. Renal and hepatic function should be monitored during treatment, especially in elderly patients or those on prolonged treatment. Avoid concomitant use with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants without medical supervision.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
