Indications
Adopren is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, as well as for fever reduction. This medication is frequently used in cases of muscle pain, headache, dental pain, dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain), and inflammatory conditions such as arthritis. Ibuprofen works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, substances involved in inflammation and pain, offering effective relief in the management of these conditions. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions for the proper use of this medication.
Composition
Each Adopren tablet contains 400 mg of ibuprofen, as well as the excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Adopren is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It should not be used in patients with active peptic ulcer, bleeding disorders, severe renal failure, or in those with NSAID-induced asthma. It is also contraindicated during the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as in those taking anticoagulants. The risk of adverse effects should be evaluated, especially in elderly patients or during prolonged treatments. It is important not to exceed the recommended doses and to consult a doctor if any unusual symptoms appear.
