Indications
Aditral is indicated for the treatment of excessive sleepiness associated with narcolepsy. This medication acts as a central nervous system stimulant, helping to improve wakefulness and attention in patients suffering from this condition. It is also used in the treatment of excessive daytime sleepiness in patients with obstructive sleep apnea, where it has been shown to improve the patient's quality of life and functional capacity. It should be used as part of a comprehensive approach that includes appropriate non-pharmacological measures.
Composition
Each tablet of Aditral contains 200 mg of modafinil as the active ingredient. Excipients include: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide.
Contraindications
Aditral is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to modafinil or any of the components of the formula. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of severe cardiac disorders, as well as in those with a history of substance abuse. Its use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended without proper medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, psychiatric disorders, or a history of seizures. Regular medical monitoring is important during treatment to assess response and the appearance of adverse effects. Concomitant use with other medications that act on the central nervous system must be supervised by a physician.

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
