Indications
Adiolol (Tramadol) is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain, whether acute or chronic. Its use is appropriate in situations where other analgesics are ineffective or insufficient. It can be used in the management of postoperative pain, cancer-related pain, as well as in painful conditions of osteoarticular and neuropathic origin. Its use is recommended under strict medical supervision, adjusting the dose according to the patient's clinical response and safety profile.
Composition
Each Adiolol capsule contains 100 mg of Tramadol, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
Adiolol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tramadol or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be administered to patients with acute intoxication by alcohol, hypnotics, opioid analgesics or any other drug affecting the central nervous system. Likewise, its use is contraindicated in patients with uncontrolled epilepsy or in those receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Adiolol to patients with a history of opioid dependence or in those with compromised respiratory conditions. It is important to monitor renal and hepatic function, as well as to consider the possibility of drug interactions. Administration to elderly individuals should be carried out with special attention due to increased sensitivity to the drug's effects.
