Indications

Adiolol is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. This medication is used in situations where pain cannot be adequately controlled with non-opioid analgesics. Its use is common in postoperative conditions, acute injuries, and chronic pain related to diseases such as arthritis. Tramadol acts on the central nervous system, altering the perception of pain and the emotional response to it.

Composition

Each Adiolol capsule contains 50 mg of tramadol. Additionally, it includes suitable excipients for the capsule formulation, which facilitate the release and absorption of the active ingredient.

Contraindications

Adiolol should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to tramadol or any of the excipients in the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or those with acute intoxication from alcohol, hypnotics, opioid analgesics, or psychotropic medications. Its use in patients with severe respiratory problems, uncontrolled epilepsy, or a history of opioid dependence is not recommended.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with epilepsy or a predisposition to seizures, as tramadol can increase the risk of seizures. Likewise, it is recommended to monitor patients being treated with other medications that affect the central nervous system, as they may potentiate sedative effects. Additionally, it is recommended to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment with Adiolol.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
