Indications
Adiolol is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain. It is used in the management of postoperative pain, cancer pain, and in degenerative painful conditions such as arthritis and osteoarthritis. It can also be considered in cases of fibromyalgia and neuropathy. This medication acts on the central nervous system, altering the perception and response to pain.
Composition
Each Adiolol capsule contains 100 mg of Tramadol, as well as excipients suitable for capsule formulation.
Contraindications
Adiolol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Tramadol or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be used in patients who are undergoing treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or in those with a history of substance abuse or opioid dependence. It is contraindicated in patients with uncontrolled epilepsy and in those with severe respiratory insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Adiolol to patients with a history of seizures, liver or kidney disease, and in the elderly. It is important to monitor for the appearance of symptoms of drug dependence and abuse. In addition, alcohol consumption should be avoided during treatment, as it can potentiate the sedative effects of tramadol.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
