Indications
Adiolol is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain in adults, including postoperative pain, pain associated with chronic diseases, and cancer pain. This medication acts on the central nervous system to relieve pain and is useful in situations where other analgesics are not sufficient. Its use must be strictly controlled, and its administration under medical supervision is recommended, especially in patients with a history of opioid dependence or those with pre-existing medical conditions that may increase the risk of adverse effects.
Composition
Each capsule of Adiolol contains 100 mg of tramadol as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that allow for the formulation and stability of the medication.
Contraindications
Adiolol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tramadol or any component of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients who are using monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or in those with severe respiratory conditions, opioid withdrawal syndrome, or intoxication by alcohol, drugs, or medications that act on the central nervous system.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in the use of Adiolol in patients with a history of seizures, liver or kidney disease, or in those who are being treated with other medications that may interfere with its metabolism. It is important to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment, as it may increase the risk of adverse effects. Likewise, it is recommended to evaluate the risk of dependence and abuse in patients with a personal or family history of substance abuse.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and protect from light. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
