Indications
Adimod is indicated for the treatment of recurrent infections in immunocompromised patients, as well as for the prevention of infectious complications in patients with chronic diseases. It is used as an adjuvant in the therapy of respiratory infections and in conditions that require immune system support. Additionally, its efficacy has been studied in autoimmune diseases and in improving the response to vaccinations in individuals with immunological susceptibility.
Composition
Each Adimod tablet contains 800 mg of Pidotimod as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
Adimod is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Pidotimod or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients younger than 3 years of age. Caution should be exercised in patients with active autoimmune diseases.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of autoimmune diseases. During treatment, it is recommended to monitor the clinical response and the occurrence of adverse reactions. The use of Adimod during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended unless strictly necessary and under the supervision of a physician.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
