Indications
Aderogyl C Infantil is indicated for the prevention and treatment of nutritional deficiencies of vitamins A, C, and D in children. It is used in cases of rickets, osteomalacia, and other conditions related to the insufficiency of these vitamins. Likewise, it may be recommended in situations where an increased intake of these vitamins is required, such as in recurrent infections, accelerated growth, or states of physical weakness. This product is especially useful in children who present with malabsorption or who follow restrictive diets that can lead to vitamin deficiencies.
Composition
Aderogyl C Infantil contains:
- Retinol (Vitamin A)
- Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
- Ergocalciferol (Vitamin D2)
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of its components. Its use is not recommended in cases of hypervitaminosis A, C, or D, as well as in severe liver diseases. Caution should be exercised in patients with kidney diseases or those who are on anticoagulant treatment.
Precautions
It should be administered with caution in children with a history of allergies. It is important to evaluate renal function before starting treatment, as well as to regularly monitor vitamin levels in the body. It is recommended not to exceed the indicated dose to avoid vitamin toxicity.
