Indications

Adepsique is indicated for the treatment of depressive disorders, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. The combination of amitriptyline, diazepam, and perphenazine acts on the central nervous system, providing an antidepressant, anxiolytic, and antipsychotic effect. It is used in the management of conditions such as major depression, generalized anxiety disorders, panic disorders, as well as in the treatment of psychotic symptoms associated with affective disorders. Its use is recommended under medical supervision to ensure an adequate therapeutic response and to monitor possible adverse effects.

Composition

Each Adepsique tablet contains: Amitriptyline 10 mg, Diazepam 3 mg, Perphenazine 2 mg.

Contraindications

Adepsique is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with a history of anaphylactic reactions. It is also contraindicated in individuals with closed-angle glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, and in cases of acute intoxication by alcohol and other sedatives. It should not be administered during pregnancy and lactation without adequate medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, liver disease, renal insufficiency, and in those who operate machinery or drive. Regular medical follow-up is important to adjust the dose and evaluate the efficacy of the treatment. Concomitant use with other central nervous system depressants may enhance sedative effects.
