Indications
Adel Suspension is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. It is used in the treatment of upper and lower respiratory tract infections, such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and pneumonia. It is also effective in the treatment of skin and soft tissue infections, as well as Helicobacter pylori infections, in combination with other agents, for the eradication of this bacterium in patients with peptic ulcers.
Composition
Each 5 ml of suspension contains 150 mg of Clarithromycin, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Adel Suspension is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Clarithromycin, other macrolides, or any of the components of the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of jaundice or severe hepatic dysfunction related to the use of Clarithromycin.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those taking other medications that may interact with Clarithromycin. It is important to evaluate liver and kidney function before initiating treatment. In addition, drug interactions should be considered, as Clarithromycin can increase the plasma levels of other drugs metabolized by the liver.
Storage
Keep the bottle tightly closed, at room temperature between 15 and 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
