Indications

Adel is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial infections. It is effective in respiratory tract infections, including sinusitis, pharyngitis, and pneumonia. It is also used in skin and soft tissue infections, as well as in Helicobacter pylori infections in patients with peptic ulcers. Clarithromycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, resulting in the death of susceptible bacteria. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions to determine the duration of treatment and the appropriate dose according to the severity of the infection and the patient's response.

Composition

Each Adel tablet contains 250 mg of clarithromycin as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

Adel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to clarithromycin, other macrolide antibiotics, or any component of the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of QT interval prolongation or in those receiving treatment with medications that may induce cardiac arrhythmias.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with renal insufficiency, as dose adjustment may be necessary. Care should also be taken in patients with liver diseases, as well as in those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Medical follow-up is recommended in case of adverse reactions or unusual symptoms during clarithromycin treatment.

Storage

Store at room temperature, in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
