Indications

Adaferin 0.3% Gel is indicated for the treatment of acne vulgaris in patients over 12 years of age. This medication acts on the skin, helping to reduce inflammatory and non-inflammatory acne lesions. Adapalene, its active ingredient, is a retinoid that normalizes cell differentiation and reduces the formation of comedones, contributing to the improvement of the appearance of affected skin.

Composition

Each 1 g of Adaferin Gel contains 3 mg of adapalene as an active ingredient. It also includes excipients such as purified water, propylene glycol, and other components that facilitate the formulation and stability of the gel.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to adapalene or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be applied to open wounds, dermatitis, or irritated skin areas. Likewise, its use in pregnant or breastfeeding women should be evaluated by a doctor.

Precautions

It is recommended to avoid excessive sun exposure and the use of irritating skin products during treatment with Adaferin Gel. Patients should be informed about the possibility of redness, dryness, or peeling of the skin at the beginning of treatment, which is usually temporary. It is important to perform a tolerance test before starting treatment on extensive areas.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep the product out of the reach of children and protect from light. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
