Indications

Adaferin 0.1% Gel is indicated for the treatment of acne vulgaris, which includes the presence of comedones (blackheads and whiteheads), papules, and pustules. It acts as a modulator of cell differentiation and proliferation, which contributes to the normalization of the keratinization process and the reduction of skin inflammation. This medication is suitable for use in patients with mild to moderate acne, and can be used as part of a combined therapy with other topical or systemic acne treatments. It is recommended to apply the gel once a day to the affected skin, preferably at night, after adequately cleaning the area.

Composition

Each 100 g of Adaferin Gel contains 0.1 g of adapalene as an active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, glycerin, propylene glycol, carbomer, tromethamine, among others.

Contraindications

Adaferin Gel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to adapalene or any of the product's excipients. It should not be used on irritated, injured, or burned skin areas. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when applying the gel in combination with other acne treatments, especially those that may cause irritation. It is important to avoid excessive sun exposure and to use sun protection during treatment. Likewise, it is suggested to avoid contact of the gel with the eyes, mucous membranes, and sensitive areas of the skin.

Storage

Store at room temperature, in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
