Indications

Acuafil Ofteno is an ophthalmic solution indicated for the temporary relief of symptoms of irritation and dry eyes, as well as for eye lubrication. It is used to treat the sensation of grittiness, itching, or burning, which can be caused by environmental factors such as wind, smoke, dry air, and other irritants. It is also useful for patients who wear contact lenses, providing additional hydration and improving comfort during use. This product can be used for daily eye health care, as well as for the management of conditions that require additional ocular lubrication.

Composition

Each ml of Acuafil Ofteno contains: Polyvinyl Alcohol 14 mg/ml. Excipients: Sodium chloride, dibasic sodium phosphate, monobasic sodium phosphate, purified water.

Contraindications

Acuafil Ofteno is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of active eye infections, or in severe corneal or eye diseases that require specific treatment.

Precautions

Care should be taken when using this product in patients who are being treated with other eye drops or ophthalmic solutions, as it could interfere with their effect. It is advisable to wait at least 15 minutes between the administration of different solutions. If persistent or worsening symptoms occur, a doctor should be consulted. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or if it has expired.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children. Do not expose to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight. Once opened, use within a recommended period to ensure the product's efficacy and safety.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
