Indications

Actron Gel is indicated for the local treatment of inflammatory and painful conditions, such as sprains, muscle strains, arthritis, and tendinitis. This medication is effective in relieving pain and reducing inflammation in localized areas of the body. It is especially useful for treating muscle pain, sports injuries, and other types of localized pain. Ibuprofen, as the active ingredient, works by inhibiting the production of substances that cause inflammation and pain, thus providing effective relief.

Composition

Each 100 g of gel contains:
- Ibuprofen: 5 g
- Excipients: q.s.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or to any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of peptic ulcers, active gastrointestinal diseases, severe renal insufficiency, severe hepatic insufficiency, and in children under 12 years of age. Furthermore, its use should be avoided in patients who experience asthma induced by acetylsalicylic acid or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, cardiovascular problems, hypertension, and in those who are being treated with anticoagulants. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions and not exceed the recommended dose to avoid adverse effects. Prolonged use or use over large areas of the skin should be evaluated by a healthcare professional.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
