Indications
Acomexol (Crotamiton) is indicated for the treatment of various dermatological conditions, including scabies and pruritus. Its antipruritic action makes it a therapeutic option for relieving itching associated with dermatitis and other skin conditions. This medication works by interfering with the activity of mites that cause scabies, as well as alleviating the discomfort associated with inflammatory skin conditions. It is recommended to apply the cream to the affected skin following the treating physician's instructions.
Composition
Each 100 g of Acomexol cream contains 10 g of crotamiton as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and topical application.
Contraindications
Acomexol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to crotamiton or any of the components of the formula. It should not be applied to large areas of the skin, open wounds, or mucous membranes. Caution should be exercised when used in patients with a history of allergic reactions to other topical medications.
Precautions
It is recommended to use Acomexol with caution in patients with severe dermatological conditions or in sensitive areas of the skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If adverse reactions or irritation occur at the application site, discontinue use and consult a doctor. In addition, the dosage indicated by the healthcare professional must be strictly followed to avoid adverse effects.
Storage
Store Acomexol in its original packaging, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C and out of the reach of children. Protect from light and moisture.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
